I love this place, adult crowd, great music & good food.
I go to this venue about 10 times a year, there's no better place to see a show. For those of you bitching about the food, hey don't eat there, there's several places to eat within a stones throw from the place. They get the best talent around, combined with the small size of the room it's perfect. Musicians love to play there & you can tell.
Terrible venue. Bad sightlines, and the beer served comes in 8 ounce servings for twice the amount you pay for a full pint steps away. Not putting pricing on the drink menu is just ridiculous.
I've visited for multiple performance and they were great, however my last was horrendous. They sold us seats that were next to their register; the staff continously walked in front of us and stepped on our feet. Spoke with management that evening and they weren't of any help. Truly dissapointed!
Until you get the age policy changed, I will never give this venue more than a one star rating. This is a restaurant and listening room that happens to serve alcohol. There is no good reason other than the laws of Annapolis why this should be only 21 and over venue. And frankly, I think Annapolis's laws are wrong and foolish. The Ram's Head should work hard to change these laws.
By far my favorite venue. I've seen the Civil Wars and Greg Holden here and both were the best shows I've ever attended. Cozy atmosphere, great service, wonderful food, just a perfect venue. LOVE it!
