I saw Dr R for years utilizing injections and narcotics to manage my pain. One day he told me he could not see me since he was no longer accepting Medicare. He did not refer me to anyone else or lay out a plan for weaning me off the narcotics. Just Good-Bye. I called his office where I was told they were accepting Medicare patients. ? In a panic, I went to my primary MD who helped me find another pain doctor, so no withdrawal. A yr later Dr R called to invite me back to see him again. No way!
Very caring physician who came out on christmas day to check on a patient. Great bedside manner. Recommend him hightly
Helped my 95 year old father with his nerve pain. A lot of doctors dismissed his pain as being old age and did not offer any help. Dr Ramirez did a nerve block which allowed my father to continue walking which is important at that age.
