Be careful when going to the Ramen Ya in Queen Kaahumanu center in Kahului. I went there in March and used my card. I haven't been there since, but yesterday I was charged by them. I called them and they claimed they weren't open and couldn't charge it back in March, so they just now charged me yesterday when they opened. They were, in fact, open for carry-out in March, and my bank statement shows that I was charged in March. Ramen Ya is the best! I take trips from the West side for the sole purpose of having lunch there. I order the Big Bowl, sans bean sprouts, & have only finished it once. The stock is miso based & very delicious. The price is right & the staff is so cool, it's a pleasure to tip 50% or more. The kitchen is clean. These folks take pride in their place. Treat them right.
