Rich Tonkotsu broth is flavorful, creamy, and satisfying with thick, chewy noodles which I like but I find it a bit on the salty side. Portions are generally is large and filling. Friendly staff and a lively atmosphere in the Waikiki food hall. Price of the the ramen is expensive for what it is, especially once toppings and fees are added. But with 15% Kamaaina discount is a plus. Be prepared to wait, lines can be long during peak hours because the restaurant is popular.
Service was amazingly fast and the food was delicious. Definitely worth coming here. The waitress was super friendly and bubbly too :)
The middle-aged female waiter was very rude. Arrived at noon, the place was full of customers but she was the only waiter. We received very few attention (taking the order, bringing 2 cups of water without refill, and bringing the check). At the end we paid 10% tip and she frowned at us. Next time you get a 10% of even 5% tip ask yourself why instead of blaming the customers. That's what you deserved.
My husband got the spicy tonkotsu and I got the regular tsukemen. This place delivers the same quality you’d get in Japan. Highly recommend coming here if you like ramen and tsukemen, was definitely a treat after being severely disappointed by Momosan!
