If I could post pictures of the stains on the furniture, the strong smell of cigarettes in the non-smoking room, the mold in the bathroom, and the hole on the door... you'd be disgusted. If it didnt cost $158 dollars that i couldnt get back, id have just walked out. This place is gross.

It's quite old and had some problems such as molds in bathroom curtain. However the men were very kind and had a lovely voice, I think. If you ask me why I chose this hotel, just because other hotels in this city and near around were too expensive... It's cheap relatively in Santa Cruz.

So we come to Santa Cruz once a year, our first time was 2014, then actually 2x in 2015 and we are currently staying here every single time we stay here at the Ramada and have never regretted it, the staff is very welcoming the environment is kid friendly. we have kids so we arnt picky about cosmetic crap, our rooms are clean, we have clean towels, running water, beds to sleep on and a fridge and the area is pretty safe and the price is right so we are happy, Wi-Fi the pool and the proximity to shopping and everything work f... read more

Room was clean, no ice machine working, workers eating continental breakfast that is for quests staying there. If they eat it should be when the guests are done. If work being done on hotel then they should indicate that at time of reservation not after you check in.

We stayed in room 215 the fridge was not plugged in so it was not cold the top comforter had multiple white stains the shower leaked all the time told front desk he said it's not worse then what it was before so now worries biggest thing of all they allow smoking on balcony and weed smoking in there rooms cause the front destination was notified multiple time and was told the them manager would not be in till the morning my room smelled all night but they where full so could not move me I'm waiting till the morning b to talk... read more

Short walk to Pacific Ave where all the freaks hang out!! Lol! Nice rooms, started the day without hot water but a quick call the management and had me in another room to remedy the problem and offered a late check out. Super friendly management, great customer service.

room was ready when we got there early ahead of the scheduled chck in time;nice bed and clean sheets and it is quite even though it is on the yellow route, the breakfast is very good filling with lots of choices. Good location too.
