Unfortunately you have to leave at least one star otherwise I would have left none for this hotel. My husband and I were traveling and booked this hotel online without actually seeing it. Lesson learned 😭 We chose this hotel because it was close to the interstate, price was affordable, pet friendly and they have their own restaurant. We stayed here the night of August 29 and got in very late. I think the gal who checked us in was named Tina. When we asked for extra coffee for the next morning she initially thought she was out and only had decaf, but, by the time we had unloaded our luggage onto the cart, she had found some and gotten it to us. She was very sweet and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. Even though this hotel is undergoing massive renovation, our room was clean and very nice. Even with the renovations it was a nice stay
In spite of the renovations underway, the hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. No better stay in Statesville for the money than the Wyndham.
