4 miles from interstate..set back in off the road. Lots of smokers outside and hallway smelled of smoke. Quiet to sleep. Room clean but only the very very basics.

I came into Saginaw for a convention and was bumped from the Four Pointes to the Ramada. The road is closed down so my Waze map wasn't super helpful, I drove in circles before I realized I needed to drive the wrong way on a one way closed road to reach the parking lot. The signs were not illuminated so it was hard to know if I was at the right place in the dark. The lobby is a bit misleading, it looks comfortable and clean. Very outdated. Neighborhood was questionable and long hallways with corners made me feel unsafe

Honestly for the price I paid it was what was expected. What was not expected was I had to pay a $100 deposit that was not disclosed until check in. At check in was told the deposit was a hold until we checked out. Upon checking out I was told it would be back on my card in about an hour. I checked a few hours later and it was not. I called the front desk and was told 4-5 business days. He stated there is no bank that would give the deposit back before then.
