Located at the end of town but close to shopping with the best meat shop (TBones): Cobbs Bakery and a well stocked grocer. The BALCOMO never disappoints. Their gorgeous floral displays are the first to great you. The hotel grounds, gardens and pool amenities are spotless and meticulously kept daily. The Local Public Eatery Restaurant is attached - has fair pricing for families and a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy a meal or poolside snack. Check in was supposed to be 3:00, I’m sitting in the lobby and my room is still not ready! Does this mean my check out can be an hour late?
Before booking, I read many reviews, followed Balcomo on social media, and did quite a bit of research. This trip was with my mom and sisters, and overall we had a wonderful stay. We stayed from Sunday to Wednesday. Check-in is at 3:00 p.m., and we arrived around 4:00 p.m., but unfortunately our room was still not ready. The staff offered us towels if we wanted to use the pool while we waited, but since we wanted to unpack first, we chose not to. About 20 minutes later they called to let us know our room was ready.
