Saw a provider for an acute issue. She was great. Checked out and was told I couldn’t make an appointment with her for my follow up visit because she wasn’t my provider. I was told that was their “policy”. How are they going to tell a paying patient they can’t follow-up with the provider who just saw them. I told them I could come any day she was working. She knows my problem and I want her to follow-up with me not someone who hasn’t observed prior to treatment.
