I saw someone’s hair and they referred me to Rakida. It’s true that they’re the best braiding shop. This was my first visit here. But as soon as I opened the shop door there was a stench. The problems with the shop is that the floors are dirty, the mirrors are dirty. I went to the bathroom to pee and the bathroom was completely dirty. So to the owner Aicha, your shop is truly the best and the customer service too but i have never seen a shop this dirty a day in my life. I went to get my hair braided for the first time at the salon and was impressed with their work. Every stylist did a great job on their clients hair and I highly recommend them.

I love this place! Shout to my braids super star Miriam!! She Always does a fabulous job on my hair!! The other stylists doing wonderful braids as well. The people that work here are very polite, kind and respectful. I love their hours; they will try their best to work with your schedule. They also do children's hair. 5 Stars for Rakida Hair Braiding!!!

I had an excellent first time experience with Rakida's. My appointment began on time, my stylist didn't braid too tightly, and the salon was clean and welcoming. I will be back often!
