Dr. Hegde has always treated me with great respect and explained everything to me so I knew exactly what was going on with my health. I was in the hospital recently and he made a special trip, after hours, to come and check on me. Thank you Dr. Hegde for everything.
first saw dr. hegde in spring 2023 for diverticulitis. that summer, i became septic three times in one month under his care after a partial colectomy and received an ileostomy that another surgeon later described to me as “atrocious”. communicating with hegde and his office was a nightmare in the following months. it wasn’t until another surgeon out of state took my case and contacted hegde’s office for a copy of my records in february 2024 that the man himself actually returned any of my calls. under absolutely no circumsta... read more
My dad had colon cancer and he explained everything very well. Then 2 weeks later had surgery and everything went well.
I was assigned Dr. Hegde at Cox Health Springfield when I went to the ER for diverticulitis. In my follow up visit he scheduled a colonoscopy at The Martin Center for a couple of weeks later. He gave me a list of preparation requirements which I followed to the T. On the day of I went to the Martin Center to check in and THEIR list of preparation requirements did NOT match those of Hegde’s . And they refused to do the colonoscopy.
