Dr. Chakravarty was amazing to work with. He was very clear in answering our questions and was sensitive to our needs. He completed a hip revision on a faulty replacement by another doctor and hospital. He then did the other hip as well 6 months later. All went very well. I would recommend him without hesitation.
Dr. Raj was professional, versed in the latest surgical procedure and technology. He was straightforward and if he gave you advice on recovery and limitations that may occur post-op, he would back it up with facts. If there was a lack of research on anything he advised, he would indicate that. He and his staff were courteous and caring. My surgeon did a fantastic job, had both of my knees replaced within 4 months! I have total mobility and very little pain, the whole team is so spot on for all of my care even dealing with my insurance company! I have recommended my surgeon (Dr Chakravarty) to several people, he was very good about my desire to have my surgeries done at StMarys Hospital, which their care was also exceptional! Dr. Raj is truly the best of the best!! I had a total left hip replacement on February 4, 2026. The day of surgery was basically pain-free and each day thereafter was even better! I couldn't be happier with my results and progress! I was fortunate to be walking unassisted less than 2 weeks from the date of surgery. At my four-week point, no one would even know that I had a hip replacement. Kudos to Dr. Chakraverty and his staff!
