The Doctor was totally empathetic to my fears. He sat with me in the Ready Room and we discussed the procedure and also joked and laughed to ease my concerns. He did my follow up to remove the surgical staples at his office and made it an easy nonpainful procedure. Looking forward to see him again soon
He was respectful, caring, patient, and clearly explained everything.

Dr. Butani was more concerned that I pronounced his name wrong than treating me as a patient. He gave me faulty information about my situation. I went to Jefferson in Phila. after consulting with other Urologists. Dr. Butani caused me a lot of unnecessary stress.
Since 9/18 I have been calling for an authorization number. today I called 3 times & had to leave a call back #. No one has responded in all this time. MRI is suppose to have been done 2 wks in advance of office visit. Aetna Insurance has no record of request for authorization I don't need to work this hard for a simple request, not counting the stress factor.
Efficient, courteous and skillful.
Saw him in the ER the day after having stents put in because one was coming out. It took him 5 hours to see me, even though he told me he would meet me there. Then he proceeded to do a cystoscopy and reinsertion of stent in the ER without any medication and wearing street clothes. Complete unsatisfied with this physician and his lack of compassion, and I am an RN who works at the hospital!
Doc was a disappointment.
