I would not recommend Dr. Fernando. He was incredibly rude and unprofessional during my dad's ER visit for multiple blood clots in his lungs. Dr. Fernando, who was on duty at the time, made an inappropriate comment about my dad's weight, asking him, 'When are you having that baby?' On a prior visit, my dad had expressed concerns about his health, but Dr. Fernando dismissed them and failed to take them seriously. Very dismissive. After visit notes have a number of symptoms indicated as no when I clearly raised them as concerns. Waste of time and money.

Dr. Fernando wasted no time when I appeared as a new patient with very minor symptoms, or so I thought. He ordered a calcium scoring test immediately which I flunked, and then a stress test, which I also flunked, and then an angiogram, and it turned out I had to have triple bypass surgery… And he wasted no time in getting any of these tests run because he recognized the problem when he saw it, and thank goodness he did! Otherwise, I might be dead now of a heart attack. Thank you, Dr. Fernando!
