The WORST primary care doctor I've EVER experienced. When calling about a stomach bug health concern (called literally the minute they opened), I didn't get a call back until the following afternoon and was told I should go get a COVID test. Dr. Raj is awesome. Kind, sympathetic and willing to listen. He understands underlying causes and tries to treat them effectively. I was happy receiving his treatment. As a primary care physician he understood my background and distinct eating habits and worked treatment plans according to my dietary preferences. Every time I go for an examination he is very thorough and attentive.

My father has been a patient for almost a year. My dad is 84. The dr seemed over zealous in referring him for cataract surgery, hearing aids, and some other procedures. The last appointment I took dad to, the dr quizzed me on where I lived, where I went to school, job and other personal questions. It made me extremely uncomfortable. Plus, we were in the exam room for 25 minutes before he saw us. I’d say skip this guy and keep looking.

I was looking for a Primary Care Physician and the first Mercy Referral was to a lovely Dr on north side but they did not check that she could provide my one med. She did not bill me. The second was to Dr Raj as he is referred to -an internist, NOT what I was looking for. Strike 2.
