This was by far the best motel 6 stay I've ever had. I always search for clean sheets and was pleased to have everything in the room freshly cleaned. Thanks Emily for the note you left showing you cleaned it. Excellent job!

This Shelby Motel 6 layout out had more open space then other one I stayed in. It had tub and shower combo. It had Fridge, microwave.
Luckily we arrived around 11:00pm and left at 8:00am so we didn’t have to stay long. We were put in the building farthest away from the office. When I asked why we couldn’t have one of the rooms right by the office we were told those rooms were closed for renovations. Well the rooms closed for renovations must be tore up from the floor up because our room was in dire need of renovations. I did not stay. I checked out a room had a musty smell floors were dirty overall not good. When I talked to the manager she said they only had one hour to clean the room. That is not what you want to hear.Very disappointed canceled my reservation.
First let me say we are long time customers. Our group has been coming to Conneaut Lake for 21 years with out fail. We have changed motels 3 times and have been staying at the parkside for a majority of those years. I have to say the accomidations over the years have diminished recently. Mainly since new ownership. When you pack toilet paper and cleaning supplies to take to a motel that says a lot. We have many great memories with family and friends and the location is perfect. I spent most of my summer of 2015 here and absolutely loved it! The rooms are clean and the atmosphere takes me back to my childhood! The feeling you get with summer's in Conneaut is truly priceless! Even more so, when you have little one's of your own to share it with! The staff is very welcoming and eager to make you feel at home. The owners are absolutely deplorable. They are rude and ignorant. We stayed at the motel in mid august. The owners were visiting from NY at this time. Our room as clean and we were completely satisfied with the service we received from Dan the manager. He ran is tail off to make sure we and the other guests were taken care of. We attempted to visit with the owners as they sat in the house staring at all of us. They ignored us completely. We talked with Dan and he was an amazing host.
