I have relocated between California and Italy eight times over the past several years, so I am very familiar with the process and what to expect from international moving companies. I recently used Rainier Overseas Moving to move from the U.S. (Los Angeles) to Alicante, Spain. With a cross continent move such as this, it could be very stressful, but Rainier (specifically Rich Haas) was very helpful throughout the process. We used Rainier Overseas Moving to transport our household effects from Florida to Paraguay. From start to finish it was a great process mainly because of Don Arroyo - who was our liaison from start to finish. Having moved before we knew that it was important to obtain several quotes but it was clear that Don's knowledge of the complexities of an international move made a key difference. Dave Wiviott and his team helped make our international move as smooth as possible, from start to finish. He was always very communicative and handled our many questions. Their choice in contractors was also great, ensuring everything arrived with only a few minor scratches. My only complaint would be the estimated time of delivery - our shipment was delayed by a month due to the cargo ship overbooking and causing our shipment to push to another vessel, but that’s not within Rainier’s control. Wow what a great experience from start to finish. Chuck and Rainier Movers took the stress out of our overseas move. From start to finish we were updated on the progress, quoting was fair and accurate, and all of our stuff arrived in tact. We were SO nervous to pick an overseas mover, so I had to leave a review to reassure anyone else looking for a trustworthy company. We couldn't be happier with our experience.
