I recently had a really disappointing experience at this office after being a patient here for quite some time. Unfortunately, the ladies at the front desk were very unprofessional and lacked basic customer service. There was a mix-up with my appointment, but the way the situation was handled was extremely insensitive, rude, and felt very judgmental. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled to after noticing the recent decline in ratings. I want others to know that Rainier OBGYN is absolutely trustworthy and has provided me with excellent care. I was first referred here by my midwife during my second pregnancy. I ended up loving the care I received so much that I stayed with them for my follow-up care and additional procedures. During my third pregnancy, I unfortunately needed a D&C. Dr Maynard delivered my second and third babies. Great physician. Very attentive and knowledgeable. He also has an amazing team of PAs and midwives. Strongly recommended.
What a breath of fresh air! I have been wronged by doctors in my past that left me with birth trauma I am still trying to process almost 2 years later... Rachel actually listened to my story, offered input, helped explain things, and apologized for the mistreatment she had no hand in. I have never felt so heard and comforted by a medical provider. She was easy to talk to, like talking to a good friend with all the women's health knowledge you could ever need to know. I'm kicking myself for not coming sooner!
I’ve had 2 babies under the care of Dr Maynard ( and Midwife Karin) now and am so happy with his attention to detail, his compassion and knowledge of his profession.
