Fully honest review For the rent you pay, it's not a bad place to live at all. I moved out 2 months ago after living there four years. Most of these comments are true. The caretaker's granddaughter IS a meth user, and her husband/boyfriend deals drugs. This is well known in the community. The caretaker's daughter is very kind, but her young, young son (maybe 14) is allowed to openly smoke . The owner, I guess his name is Jack, is a jerk. His ONLY concern is money. Absurd. Owned and run by a slumlord. I recently became disabled and asked him to work with me on my rent until I could get disability squared away. Rather than work with me, he repeatedly knocked on my door while I was sleeping to harass me about rent. If I didn't feel like waking up to what I knew was more harassment, he'd just unlock my door and walk into my apartment without any prior notification. I left my apartment in great condition. Rainbow? I dont think so. What can I say about Rainbow Plaza?? WORST PLACE EVER. Cheaper than most places, but prices HAVE gone up even for this place. There are places that are better and just as affordable. A lot of things depend from the owner. The owner Jack, IS greedy. Everyone knows that around here. What shocked me the most is that every morning between 8-10am he drives his white truck around the place to make sure everything is "under control". Horrible Building I lived at rainbow plaza for about 9 months in 2009-2010, on ground floor. This is a very bad place to live. I found mouse holes under my stove and behind my refridgerator that were poorly repaired. Apparently they had no idea about a mouse problem. (yeah right) There are huge spiders and weird long centipieds every where. The hall ways smell like smoke 24/7. The dryers in all 5 laundry rooms never dry your clothes completely, sometimes when you take them out they're freezing cold instead of the normal toas... read more

Somewhat okay My grandfather and I lived here for about four years together, and then he lived here after I moved out until he died this year. I believe that this building has lots of subsidized housing going on inside. And it seemed like across the hall from us, there was always a family that was going through domestic disputes. There was no heated garages or anything like that, but there were some garages available.
