Please don't take your car here. You will just have to get it repaired again. less than a year ago I had Catalytic Converter and manifold work done..Almost 2 months ago I had to have the manifold redone..since the warranty was for only 90 days they wanted 250.00..took it to Complete Import Service on Craven rd..they did the repairs and the job that was previously done was horrible..well last week my car started making noises. took it to my Mechanic and guess what my Catalytic Converter was bad..so they order the part to fix ... read more
Be careful everyone. This shop did work for a body shop that was repairing a broken exhaust system on a new camaro. In the process they threw away $1600 of sensors that should have been taken off the exhaust to put on the new exhaust system. They tried to blame it on me for not telling them we would need the sensors (how would I know) and then they refuse to even help with replacing them. The body shop has already said they would never do business with them again as they told me they lied to them as well. Very bad experience... read more
Went to the rainbow muffler on Phillips hwy and they had no clue what was wrong with my car. First they said motor mounts then it was my drive shaft which they wanted to charge me $1000. That was the owners opinion and estimate. Got a second opinion and my drive shaft is fine just needed a bushing. Which my brother can do for nothing. I wouldn't trust anything they say. Don't think they really know what they're doing. Definately a rip off

I called the Rainbow Muffler Man on Black Friday and in the morning. I didn’t get an answer and just hung up. So, I was calling around to other shops and nobody anywhere answered. I figured people were just off for the day. Within a few minutes, Rainbow Man on San Jose called me back and asked how he could help. I told him what I needed and asked if he could do it today. Went there by mistake trying to get to brake shop next door. But, I had already handed over the keys by the time I figuerd it out. So, I decided to wait and see... They showed me my trouble, quoted a fair price, fixed it while I waited, honored the quote with no games or drama, and my brakes are working great now. All things considered, that's about as good as it gets these days.
