Without even a proper consultation, they require a $400 deposit. Then when they do visit your home they will make up that they see black mold without actually being able to show it to you. Then when you request them to deal with the insurance company directly, they will misdirect you and make you pay the full cost upfront. When we then canceled the job within 20 mins, they did not give a full refund as we were owed. This company is built on scamming people.

I can't say enough good things about Restoration 1. They get a 10/10. After a sewer backup they responded very quickly (i can't remember the cleanup man's name but he was so professional and excellent) and did an amazing job. Robert and Mirko were fantastic to deal with on the repair side of things. Everything was handled quickly and professionally and the basement looks brand new. Restoration 1 delivered what they promised, and left something extra (good) behind! We had a small basement flooding and Restoration 1 came to the rescue to dry out very quickly. They also worked with our insurance company to sort out repair plan. We did experience delays due to contractor issue but once Eric and Ron were notified of the delay, they were hands on and finished the job as quickly as they can. The basement is now better than before! I am happy with the end result. Thank you Restoration 1.

We had a leak with our washing machine and water started pooling on the basement floor. I called Eric at Restoration1 in Toronto and he had a crew at my house with drying equipment in under 1HR. Excellent service, response time and team. I would highly recommend this company if you ever find yourserlf dealing with water damage, flooding etc....
