It’s always a nice experience to stop by this shop. Often they offer hot tea when you come in. The staff is helpful but not overbearing, letting you look around. Also very quick to respond to messages answering questions and providing photos if you need. Great place to pick up gifts, there’s something here for everyone. Oh and they are amazing at wrapping gifts!
I was delighted to have my small purchase gift wrapped. My grand daughter will no doubt comment on it...she's turning 6 and notices things like that.

As I walked in, I was greeted so sweetly. The employee offered me some tea as a walked around and shopped. You definitely need to give yourself time to spend and explore every book & cranny. Loved everything in the store & loved my experience. They’ve set the bar & if I am not offered tea and kindness at every store I walk into, I’m walking out 😂 110% recommend ♥️
I never miss visiting this shop when I visit Detroit, always a genuine treat.
The store employees made us feel so unwelcome after my three year old, who was born with one kidney and is prone to infections, was told she absolutely couldn’t use the bathroom there. It was 20° out and we’d been standing in the cold waiting for the tree lighting ceremony so I made a decision to let her go anyway rather than have an accident and walk the 6 blocks back to the freezing van in wet clothes.
