The hostess was really great at finding us a good table but the food was very bland and bad, especially for the price, and the waiter was very slow, took our order wrong, and never showed interest in our satisfaction with the meal.
Beautiful surroundings, decent food. One waitress had a bit of an attitude for unknown reasons, prob just an off day but didnt spoil our visit. Would definitely return.
Staff acts like they don't want to be there and service was poor even with a prime time, Saturday night, half full restaurant. Oysters and Caesar salad were very good. Shishito peppers, not great. I ordered the "tomahawk pork chop" based on staff recommendation, and it looked like something you'd order at Denny's, not a $45 plate. Super thin (meat half the thickness of the bone) and fatty cut. Absolutely disappointing. I love the Inn and will come back, but I won't eat here. I'll drive to town.
It's Big Sur. Expect the best and be ready to pay for it. Service was quick and attentive.
