Been a chef for over 23 years, have run many restaurants in my time, was a sous chef in my younger days @ an authentic Jamaican restaurant in Charleston, ordered some jerk wings tonight that brought me back to when I was younger then, they were fantastic! ..big, juicy, just the right amount of heat, a little sweet, and just a little crispy on the outside..well done guys, will spread the word, I'll be back!
Yay !!!! We Islanders have a New. Fun Restaurant and Bar with familiar faces preparing awesome food and killer drinks !!!! Dinner was amazing Wednesday night...Perfectly prepared Jamaican entrees for both my daughter and I. Intended to have dinner Only but we were pulled in to the laid back vibe and the friendly servers made us feel so welcome !!!
Had lunch there today fir the 1st time. We split the sampler platter with jerk ribs, chicken, and shrimp. sides were beans and rice and plantains. Delicious
