I just did the middle fork all day trip with my son and niece a few days ago. It was so much fun!!!!!! Scary too! The guides Matty and Kyle were great! If you want to have a exciting adventure, this may be the perfect day trip!!
Great experience! First time white water rafting and definitely won’t be my last! Had a great time! Paul was an excellent river guide- very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Made me feel safe and confident as we were going into some of the bigger rapids! Will definitely use this company again!!
Awesome two day trip on the Middle Fork of the American River. Our guides Tagean(sp?), Able, and Spaz were the perfect balance of skilled and laid back. I was in the boat with Able and that guy was a blast to ride with. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to enjoy their time on the river.
Such an awesome all day trip! Boy Scouts Troop 117 had a great time. The guides did an amazing job balancing fun & safety. The instructions were clear, the guides even had information about the area they shared as we costed & bounced along . The trip was a nice blend of relaxing & exciting, including a wonderful provided lunch. They put up with songs, chants, history, swimming & water fights. This was my first rafting trip..our guide Will did a awesome job. He was very knowledgeable of the Middle fork river, was very patient and got us through every rapid without us falling out! It was a beautiful day and we had a great adventure!
We have had two amazing trips with Raft California. First trip was down the Truckee a few weeks back and spent today on Middle Fork. Both trips we had beginner rafters with us, our guide Charlie made sure they were comfortable and had a great experiences!! Also learned a lot of history around the two rivers as we made our way thru the slower rapids. If ever in the area and looking for a day trip, I’d recommend Raft California and Charlie as a guide if he’s available!!
I would highly recommend Raft California. The experience that I had, in addition to the group I came with was phenomenal! We decided to go with the Middle Fork of the American River and the experience was fantastic, especially since we completed the tunnel chute successfully.
