Dr. Corbisiero was amazing. Went in to see him for 2 cysts that needed removal and his office scheduled my surgery for 2 days later. He is very friendly, genuinely concerned about my feelings and fears. The staff at surgical center were very polite. A couple days after my surgery, one of my incisions opened up entirely ( because of where the incision lays), I called him late that night, he responded immediately and met me at my nearby ER. My Mom has been a patient of Dr. Corbisero for more than 10 years. Over those 10 years he has performed a few surgeries on my mom . He is very caring, compassionate and keeps the family well informed. My mom is 91 now and she is going to need exploratory surgery for a bowel obstruction and glad he is able to help her though this.
He did my daughters ruptured appendix surgery. He drew an illustration for us & answered all our questions. He even shared some if his personal experience with his appendix surgery. Very professional and down to earth. So glad he was our assigned surgeon.
Dr. Corbisiero is THE most caring doctor I've experienced. He performed a small surgical procedure 15 years ago & when it was time for a larger one, earlier this year, I was thrilled to learn that Dr. Corbisiero could perform my surgery. I'd travel a long distance for Dr. Corbisiero to care for me. He shows just as much compassion for the patient's family as he does the patient & goes beyond expectation to be available to both the patient & the family. Incredible man!!!
He saved my life twice, the only surgeon with a heart of gold
In March of 2013, I was in need of an emergency small bowel resection. Dr. Corbisiero happened to be the doctor on call that night & thanks to him, he saved my life. I would not be here still if not for him. As a result of that major abdominal surgery, I needed a double hernia repair so of course I went to him for the procedure last September 2015. I am having a hard time recovering but that is by no fault of him. He is very patient, understanding, & kind.
Dr. Corbisiero came highly recommended from my PCP. From my initial appointment to the time of my surgery I was not disappointed. He is thorough, takes time to answer questions and really put me at ease.
He is very friendly and explains in a manner you understand even by drawing so you can understand visually. Took his time, no rushing you in decisions.
