Ordered two margaritas and a nachos. Margaritas were good and came out timely. Can’t say the same for the nachos. Waited 30 minutes and it came out with partially melted slices of cheddar cheese on it. We left after the first bites confirmed it tasted how it looked — bad.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Rafelitos. After placing our order, we were given a number and told to wait ( no problem at all).We sat in the bar area for over an hour, and during that time no one called our number, announced it, or made any effort to locate us despite the restaurant not being overly busy. was told the wait would be 15 minutes then proceeded to wait an hour. went to the front desk to ask if i could change my order to go because the tv was so loud you couldn’t speak to the person next to you. wasn’t acknowledged by the employee. the food was okay i guess but i wouldn’t go back.
Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience. When I first walked into Rafelitos, I thought it was adorable and expected a great dining experience. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. While waiting for my order, I watched a younger female employee working the expo line touch her hair, rub her nose, and adjust her glasses while wearing gloves, then immediately continue handling food with those same gloves.
