Dr. Baig is the best!
I recently had back surgery and it was virtually painless. From the first time I met with the PA in the office to the final 6 week follow up, I was treated with respect and dignity. They took the time to listen to all of my concerns. I even called the office staff with post-surgery questions and they were extremely patient with me. I would and have recommended Dr. Baig to friends and family. He and his staff are outstanding!
At first the secretary called me to cancel an appt on Sept.5th about Dr. Baig had conflict his schedule to postpone on Sept.27th. Then before three day ago the secretary called me to cancel again because most of all new staffs work there and make an appt tomorrow on Oct.4th. Today the secretary called me half hour ago. She said sorry cancel the appt because two doctors have an emergency. I don't appreciate to wait so long while I am been pain my back. That is ridiculous and make terrible excuse.
I have a tarlov cyst. I called, asked if the doctor treated those and was told he did. Met with a nurse who looked at the bone scan & MRI, told me they showed little to explain my symptoms, did strength and balance checks, and spent over five minutes LOOKING for the cyst on the MRI. I HAD TO SHOW HER WHERE IT WAS! THE MRI TOLD HER! She left to talk to the Dr., came back and announced he DIDN'T TREAT CYSTS AND MY PROBLEMS WERE DUE TO THE CHANGES SHE HAD ALREADY DISMISSED. WHAT A WASTE OF $
After years of low back pain, chiropractic, pain mgmt, and PT no longer provided relief. Dr. Baig evaluated 2 yr old and current MRI/xrays, pointing to the progression of degeneration. He explained my need for fusion versus laser and why only L5-S1 needed, in a way that my family understood completely. The fusion was completed in July and, while I am still recovering, several of my original symptoms are gone. Office visit wait time was normal for all visits. The staff is friendly and helpful.
I had an excellent experience with Dr. Baig. I had exhausted other more conservative treatments (PT, Epidural injections) before I saw him. He reviewed my Xrays and scans with me and explained what he would recommend as a surgical intervention. Eight weeks ago, Dr Baig performed a lumbar fusion at 3 levels. I had suffered with sciatica for a long time and immediately after the surgery, it was gone. I am pleased with the results and would highly recommend him to friends and family.
Bed side manners are terrible. While I can't judge him to other surgeons since I only had one, he really wants to just pass you through. I almost get the feeling he just cares not about the patient but about the money. I wish I would have listened to my inner self and chose another surgeon who has a caring attitude about his patients. Very rude and condescending, treats you like you are 10 and everything he says is above your concerns.
Dr. Baig is extremely personable and talented and I am so glad he did my surgery. Right after the surgery the pain in my arm and hand, from the pinched nerve, was totally gone. If I had a choice, I would do it all over again. He explains everything very well and I knew what to expect. He also has excellent staff. Jenna was so through and would put up with my calls and answer all my questions. The instruction packets she gave me, before and after surgery, were also very well done.
I highly recommend Dr. Baig! Before seeing Dr. Baig I had seen a chiropractor then had gone through 3 epidural steroid injections for ruptured discs (L5, S1), along with physical therapy. My pain from my back, down my left leg, was disabling me from daily activities. I can’t even begin to express how bad the pain the was- WAS….Yes “WAS” because after surgery (the day of to be exact) I was pain free-Dr. Baig gave me my life back! A big Thank you to Dr. Baig and his office staff!
