Going to try this again because my review was removed. NOT SAFE FOR WOMEN! Avoid at all costs.
I’ve been waiting two months for a referral to a specialist. I had decided to exercise some patience with it being the holiday season, however when I called to get a rush put on the referral (which should’ve been started in NOVEMBER), I was told “we’re going through it right now” which is unacceptable. Do better
This place saved my life! I heard about Dr Joy and something called a "kick kit" while I was getting new needles from the white van up by St Leos in Tacoma. I went and saw Cheto and started my journey to sobriety using what I consider a miracle drug (suboxone). It has no side affects, you feel normal (which comes with its own problems after years of fing up) and the only reason it has any street value is because it WORKS! This office has gone DOWNHILL! I’ve been a patient for over 5 years and just completely switched to a new facility because of how terrible this place has gotten. It’s the women at the front desk. Especially the bigger lady. AWFUL. Very uneducated in the importance of suboxone and does not know anything about addiction. Literally makes me sick. Went to the office for the first time in 3 years and it was nice to see familiar faces and to meet my new health care professional Dr. Ortega. I was treated well like always and I'm glad I'm a patient at Rafael Medicus Clinic once again.
