1 star is much to rate this doctor! He is by far the most rude person I have ever had to deal with. He is rude and does not explain results. He reads them. Expects you to know what everything means and provides no recommendations. He shouldn't be practicing in this field, particularly because he deals with children and he has no patience. How is it that he is all we have in the lower valley? I find it very hard to believe that he makes children laugh. Great doctores, and nurses! Took time to explain to me everything.
I was a little worried by the reviews but our experience with Dr. Mimbela and his staff was great! The staff at the front desk was kind and helpful, the nurses were great too, the lady who set up my son’s EEG was so patient and fantastic at making him feel calm and comfortable for the test. Dr. Mimbela was very kind to my son and made him laugh during the assessment, he was patient with him the entire time and asked me every step of the way if I had any questions. Hate this office, doctor had zero patience with kids and they do whatever they want. They sent us months ago to get tests done at DHR, and they canceled a day before the test (hospital). We have been waiting for a new appointment since then. My husband had to call them and basically demand a new one. And now we have to see the doctor again so he can send the request for the new appointment and see if the insurance will want to cover it since it's been too long. Which it's completely their freaking fault. Please don't go here... read more
