Don't believe every review you read on Google. I had complications after a L4-L5 posterior lumbar spinal fusion with instrumentation. I developed a pedicle screw allergy due to his use of incompatible metal hardware. Dr. Ali left me in a hot mess in all aspects of my postoperative care. He practically ignored all of my complaints of pain, skin outbreaks and unusual bone sensitivity during my clinical examinations. Dr. Ali changed my life! I had extreme scoliosis and noticed that it was curving at a fast rate and told me that I needed to have surgery when every other doctor told me I just needed a brace. He was comforting, kind, and knowledgeable!

Dr. Ali saved my life. Literally! An MRI revealed a life threatening spinal canal tumor, and an admission to St. Joes brought Dr. Ali to me on a Friday night. He stayed with me for an hour answering my questions and explaining the risks. He and Dr. Ho (neurosurgeon) performed a 4 hour surgery on me and not only did I have no repercussions from the surgery, but my chronic back and hip pain disappeared!
