We visited Rady Children’s Hospital after waiting almost three months for an ophthalmology appointment. Unfortunately, our toddler had a fever and watery eyes on the same day, and was very cranky and unwell. At check-in, we requested to reschedule, but the assistant told us it would take another six months, so the only option with us is to go ahead with the visit. Never go to Rady's. Ever. They will charge you so much and you can't do anything about it. I have great insurance but they bill everything as a facility visit and it's pure fraud. They charged us $250 co-pay. Beware. This hospital is complete and utter joke. I hope they fail and shutdown for good. They are con-artists and thieves.
They have cancelled and rescheduled my daughter’s appointment several times due to scheduling issues with Dr. Bhathia. My daughter had an appointment in July now we have to wait until winter. Ridiculous! If they’re going to cancel appointments at least accommodate for cancelling!
Completely Grateful with Dr Bansal! She was hands on an scheduled my son for stigmatism eye surgery. It's been two weeks post op and he eyes are straight and in no pain. She has helped our family greatly with eye patching and correct eyeglasses prescription. Forever thankful!
