As a current resident (renter), I can tell you that in all but one respect Radnor House is wonderful. The location is ideal - convenient to several universities and companies, area highways and two SEPTA rail lines. The maintenance and security staff do an excellent job. The building and grounds are well-kept, the gardening is meticulous and they work 24/7 to keep paths and the lot free of snow and ice in winter. There is a very nice pool open during the summer, and a patio with BBQ grills behind the building. Parking is ple... read more

Moving in? You MUST use our back elevator (which is fine) but you have to reserve it in advance (it's always full up so you can't actually move in when your lease starts) oh and here's a $50 reservation fee we didn't tell you about. Hopefully this will be the last time you have to interact with the management because it's always gonna be like that.

This is a great place to live, as long as you don't have to deal with the management office which is run by tyrants who treat you like your problems are petty and not important. Also, the constant interruptions of utilities is somewhat annoying, but at least they give you ample warning of when they occur. What annoys me the most is the constant barrage of flyers left on my door reminding me of all the rules and regulations and power outages, etc. There is one unit on my floor that has been vacant for several months, and they... read more

The way management treats its tenants and visitors is unconscionable. When I first moved to the area to attend grad school I considered living here because it seemed to be a popular choice among students. After talking with a few tenants I changed my mind because they all vehemently encouraged me to avoid this place like the plague due to bad experiences with the management office. Although I settled on a different apartment complex, I had several friends live here and frequented the place quite a bit. Once, I came during ma... read more

An absolute dump run by management more concerned with gouging residents with exorbitant fines for violating their rules and regulations (a 57-page booklet of them!) than in making them feel comfortable and welcome. Allows cats and dogs (the latter on floors 1-3 only) but really isn't a pet-friendly building because of their ridiculous rules. Maintenance guys are very pleasant, but management doesn't want them talking with residents--poor management in itself. My particular apartment--and it's not the only one--has heat regu... read more

I have seen this building. A friend of mine was looking at a condo for sale here. I was not at all impressed with the security. I am from Los Angeles, and the security was way, way, way over the top. This is, after all, Radnor- its not south Philly, or South LA-- The other thing I did not like is everything I have seen is badly outdated for the price they are asking. Simply, every unit I have seen looks like 1970's maybe mid 80's design- its way over priced for that look. In the unit we looked at to buy, it was a small 1 bed... read more
