I struggle to find the words to adequately express how life changing my experience at Radix was and is. From my first phone call with Carly in admissions through my residential stay and now my participation in intensive outpatient, the staff has been phenomenal. The facility is excellent, and creates a nurturing and safe space for those struggling with addiction to start to rebuild our integrity and prepare for life post treatment. I needed addiction treatment in Iowa that fit my life, not paused it. Easy admission, flexible IOP hours, and the Higley Mansion setting—with yoga and art rooms—made it easy to show up.
From the first moment on the first phone call, to the end of the experience, my time at Radix was handled with compassion, empathy, and a drive for understanding the needs for each individual. The program is insightful and identified with what I needed to do to get my life back in balance. I can’t say enough good things about Radix. The staff is truly amazing — compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in each person’s recovery. The culture here makes you feel safe, supported, and understood from day one. This program played a huge role in helping me get back on my feet and gave me tools I’ll use for the rest of my life. I’m incredibly grateful for everyone here and would recommend this center to anyone who needs help.
