Had river view to the great Mississippi. Convenient location to downtown district.
Check-in power trip. Desk clerks enforcing a strict “no check in before 3pm” policy. All guests were there for various weddings in LaCrosse, all starting around 4pm. All guest reasonably hoping to get into their rooms slightly earlier to get dressed and on to their shuttles. Long long long line of stressed guests all knowing it would take a good half hour to get everyone through. Something to be aware of is that fact that there is a major mold problem in the hallway and the rooms near the pool on the second floor. The problem seems to be that the pool door does not close and is creating constant humidity that mold adores. It’s fixable, but needs to be addressed quickly. Also, the smell of the pool was a constant presence in the hallways and in my room. Not a fan of that either.
