I have experienced an awful service from the hotel I stayed 3 nights for business. My laundry was ready at 8.30 am for regular 1 day service. Nobody came to pick it up. After I finished my gym, at 10.15 am, the laundry was still in my room. I called to have it picked up and finally it was picked up at 10.45 am. Delivered next day at 9.30 am which finally is 1 day service eg regular service. But I have been charged 50% on top of the regular price after I checked out. My recent stay at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel in Chicago was disappointingly subpar and fraught with issues from check-in to check-out. The check-in process was frustratingly slow, with only one staff member handling four customers. After waiting an excessive amount of time, I was given keys to a room that was already occupied by another guest - a serious security and privacy concern. Whilst the lobby of the hotel and the conference space are pretty impressive the rooms themselves actually are a little bit so-so in terms of the quality as well as how they’re set up with everything paid. And the views from some of the rooms are just a sliver of the river between the two skyscrapers standing in front of it.
