Slung up at the bar with a longtime friend and shared some starters with cocktails. Hillary (bartender) is phenomenal—she took such good care of us, even as she was hustling. The cocktails are exceptional. I think we hit it at an off night for the kitchen: the corn fritters were soupy inside, the brussels were so tough and fibrous that they were hard to cut or chew through. Great food! We went to celebrate my birthday and were given a champagne toast which was a nice touch! The fried green tomatoes and crab cake appetizers were very tasty! I ordered the blacked snapper, it was cooked perfectly and was delicious! My hubby ordered the quail and waffle and loved it, great portion size for him as well. We had the pecan tart dessert and the Kentucky butter cake, both were excellent. The only thing I didn't love was the tiny table for 2.
