I had a procedure today on my back, I was quite nervous and it was quite painful at times. Which is expected. But the staff were absolutely amazing, so incredibly caring and supportive. The specialist performing the procedure talked me through every step of the way. I felt faint at one point and he just slowed things right down. I couldn’t fault anything. Your staff are incredible!
This Radiology centre is shocking. Let me make it clear, the young men trying to get my blood were very good as was the young ladies, but the Dr trying to.get a vein with the help of a Ultra Sound machine was crap absolutely shocking. This so called Specialist looked at my left arm for not even 2 minutes and just gave up he said oh you can have a scan, I didn't go there for a scan but a MRI. I swear all together they tried 7 or 8 times to get blood from me, then this head Dr only spent 2minutes under the Ultra Sound and gave... read more
I came in for an FNA today. Every staff member I interacted with was kind, patient and supportive. Admin staff, sonographer (Tam I think?), and radiologist were all wonderful. The procedure was really well explained, and I was made to feel like a person and not a procedure. Given that I came in with a wet and bedraggled request form and then had a panic attack during the procedure, this empathetic care was all the more valuable to me in that vulnerable moment. Thanks for the kindness and care today, it's appreciated.
When Peter discovered that I might still have titanium clips inside my body, he didn’t simply reject or cancel my MRI appointment. Instead, he took immediate action: he arranged for an X-ray on the spot to confirm the clip’s location and number. He then researched the clip using its make and model to verify that it was safe for the MRI procedure. I had an extremely disappointing experience at this particular SA Radioogy (Parkside). Extremely rude and unnecessary attitude of helpless staff at reception. I waited 9 days for an MRI appointment scheduled at 3:00 PM. I arrived at 2:58 PM, and while the reminder message asked patients to arrive 15 minutes early, there was no flexibility or understanding shown.
