Very disappointing experience with Kaiser Permanente. Customer service was often rude, and it was extremely difficult to find appointments near my area. Too much frustration, call transfers, and wasted time. I will be returning to my previous insurance.
My doctor scheduled me for an mri procedure at Caton Hill. The device itself is excellent, it is larger and does not feel claustrophobic at all. But the nurse incorrectly set me IV and the contrast did not get into the vein, but under the skin. Which was very painful. Nevertheless, the nurse installed a new one in the other hand, although in the paper that I signed there was a mention of the side effects of contrast, and they gave me a double dose. All of my visits to canton radiology including mri and xrays have been prompt and the folks doing the imaging have been professional and empathetic---which is super helpful when you're in pain or really anxious about your injury. In February i was impressed by the mri test results being reviewed and posted to the app quickly in like 2 days! Great turn around time. I'm anxiously waiting for the current results of an different mri done this past weekend but understand there could be a plethora of reasons it's taking longer.
terrible service our appointment were at 1:30 and waited for an hour and thirty (1.5) minutes for radiology exam we were adviced to not eat anything but drink water the patient was about to passed out of not eating during the entire day the more frustrating part was we couldn't get a hold of a superviser or manager to speak with my 6 years old child was on her way back from school and had nobody to pick him up a total disaster wish there was a way i could rate this cause they don't even deserve a one start review
