No complaints about the physician who read my scan that was performed at Baptist Health in Conway, but the billing department is terrible. I received a call from a collections agent stating that I had an outstanding balance. This was news to me as I had never received any bill from Radiology Consultants at all. I had a procedure & received the RadCon bill just 8 days after the procedure. I have called the number on the bill, but the recording says “if you have received a bill, it HAS BEEN processed through your insurance.” I don’t really see that happening in just a few days when the office that actually performed the procedure took over a month before the insurance was processed & then sent the bill. Never sent us a bill for services. Within two months of services we were turned over to collections. Never given a chance to pay them!
Been trying to call billing office for a while regarding a bill through an outside clinic they provided services for, BUT, I'm always stuck in que. Their automated system now states if you received a bill showing no insurance activity please disregard, as there's been an error. Ok, fine, but I still wanted to confirm they do have my correct insurance info, since a year ago they had it somehow all screwed up. Sent an incorrect bill by mistake. Insurance processed claim leaving a fraction of what they sent a bill for. Called concerning bill, they advised that it was incorrect and sent back to insurance. I informed the women it had already been processed she said they would still have to wait to get it on their end. All of this is very understandable. What is not understandable is the attitude of the representative.
