I worked in the radiology department for MANY years. I had no idea how toxic the work environment truly was until I got away from this place. The management of the radiology department is pathetic. This creates a revolving door for staff who get hired, and see how the department is managed. Also, the last director of the department had to be escorted out after being terminated from his job. Not a good place to work at all.

As an RN who’s seen prior painful bone marrow biopsies, I anticipated my procedure (Sept) with fear and trepidation. Peers and web groups offer little consolation in diminishing patients' stress. I was relieved to experience a pain-free procedure with no after effects at GBMC RAD. Thanks to Jimy (PA-C) for consummate biopsy skills, the pleasant clerk, 2 excellent RNs and everyone in Imaging who supported me throughout (after sedation, names escape me). Very happy with my visit, staff were very friendly and professional. They helped me get there after 30 minutes from getting lost trying to find the place! The map was very confusing, you don't know how to get there.This was the only reason why I gave 4 stars not 5!
