Concerning billing practices. In 2024 I received a bill for an X-ray in 2021! I paid the bill then a week later received a letter in the mail stating the 2021 invoice was sent in error and to disregard. Well, too late, I already paid it. No one can help credit this $88 payment back to me . I called their billing service MyDocBill TWICE. Unfortunately there is a major communication issue as English doesn't seem to be a primary language for this billing service. I had a referral sent from my urologist well over a month ago, and I was told I should receive a call within a week for a consultation to remove a kidney tumor. When weeks went by, I tried calling. I was quickly and rudely told by a receptionist that things were backed up. I tried again a week later, and was told my referral was "in the pile", but no explanation of what's going on..after I tried another time, the line rang and rang, then hung up on me. They are impossible to get a hold of! The service was fine , billing and questions an absolute disaster- how they stay in business is a mystery. First they never submitted to my insirance - so I get this huge bill. Took forever to reach them, finally someone submitted - I never got anything except an email that says I owe $$- I would like a detailed statement showing what was done, what insurance paid, etc- next to impossible get someone who knows anything on the phone.
