He lied to me, tricked me into believing he would help me. I wish I never trusted Dr Askew with my care. I am dissatisfied. I feel like such a fool. I wish I had a family member or friend close to me all times while he was discussing treatment. His bedside manner or lack there of, is selfish, and lazy! This doctor approached me upon entering the building for my appointment. I have been working toward my referral to this specialty for over 2 years and the moment I enter the building I was met with ridicule and disrespect. The doctor came to me directly to talk down to me and belittle me during a very stressful and physically painful time in my life. I will never refer any patient or family friend to this doctor. Seeing Dr. Askew has been like finding the needle in the haystack! He is excellent. He found a vein that was 80% blocked and put a stent in. My cardiologist didn’t find (or maybe didn’t look) for it! Although we will NOT be repeating such a procedure without (lots of) pain meds again! Except for that, Dr. Askew listens. He answers questions. He never makes me feel rushed. Dr. Asked knows well what he’s doing, I’ll give him that. He was a good doctor who knew how to pin point the source of the pain. His office staff on the other hand, was terrible. I understand scheduling can be out of their hands but they don’t work with you to try and figure something out. It’s either on their time or not at all. The worst of all was the office manager, Melissa. She was extremely rude and not willing to work with me to on when or how I could come in to see the doctor. Excellent Dr. Takes time to know my pain symptoms and the history of treatments so he could help me. I have had chronic moderate to severe daily back pain for over 50 plus years and tried many treatments for pain with no lasting results. Dr Askew has been the first Dr to give me lasting pain relief. This is the first time I am pain free for many months. I have wasted so much money on back relief gimmicks on tv and and the internet I could be rich. Dr. ASKEW IS FANTASTIC AND INTELLIGENT . However, his office staff is very rude and incompetent. It is a shame when he does such great work that the front staff is unprofessional and just plain rude. No sense of urgency and lack of compassion.

Wonderful Doctor and Amazing Person! He takes his time with you, knows you by name after the 1st visit. He's very busy, so it can take a while to get an appointment! Best Anesthesiologist I've ever had. He's warm, caring, and has a sense of humor to boot! He gave me 8 days of nearly pain free time doing a lumbar block as experiment to see how I'd do with a pain pump. He's gentle and kind and seems to care about the whole person, not just the ailment.
