I posted this on my page but wanted to be able to share it with the folks at Vanderbilt... So happy to be here. Truly. I am so grateful for everyone here that lovingly looks after me. From the valet folks that call me by name every time I arrive to phlebotomists that sing while doing their job, to Pam and Amy in the the office that make sure I get the best of the best, the nurses in the oncology office that walk up to me instead of calling my name, and to my oncologist that I very literally trust with my life. I am blessed.

They are not about what’s best for patients. It’s all about the convenience of the doctor. Patients are waiting past appt times. Always running late. But then again the word “research” is on the building! Statistics not curing!
