The front desk staff woman i spoke with was very friendly, helpful and nice. My experience started out great until doctor Radakrishna Kalakuntla came in . Doctor “K” came into the room rude from the start . I was referred to him for chronic constipation, gas and bloating. He continuously pressed me on medication i was taking for another condition totally unrelated to why i was there (medication prescribed by my rheumatologist for my diagnosed autoimmune disorder). Went to this GI to discuss an endoscopy due to acid reflux. After a few minutes talking with him it was CLEAR that I didn't like this doctor. He pulled up my insurance and stated that I have a $700 deductible for the year I would be responsible for if I had the procedure. Right then I was insulted. NEVER had I had a doctor bring up my ability to pay in order to get care. I truly believe because I'm black he just assumed I'dstiff him for the bill. I’ve had several visits with Dr. K. I had an abnormal colonoscopy and he took time to answer questions from myself and my husband. He explained things so that we both had a clear understanding. I have a very high level of comfort with him and wouldn’t hesitate to refer my friends and family to him.

He assumed things without fully taking my word of what was wrong with me. I didn't appreciate the ignorant comments he made about my condition.

I came to Dr. K with serious GI issues that other doctors dismissed or misdiagnosed. He truly listened to everything I had to tell him about my symptoms, ran tests and arrived at a diagnosis and treatment (Crohn’s). If you want a doctor that really cares about outcomes, has an open mind, is exceptionally friendly and accessible...then I suggest making an appointment. I have been a patient of Dr. K for over 5 years, and under his care have been healthy and in remission. My only regret was not

Highly Recommend, great doctor and very knowledgeable. Helped me to resolve some ongoing G.I. issues. Only wish I saw him sooner.

I am shocked at the unprofessional and dismissive behavior of Dr. Kalakuntla. I had a sigmoidoscopy about a year ago, to determine the cause of occasional bleeding. The result came as internal hemorrhoids. I've never before had any discomfort or problems with my bowels. Ever since the procedure, I've had strange pressure and discomfort on my lower left side. I also started suffering from episodes of diarrhea and heartburn with reflux. When I called Dr. Kalakuntla he told me to get lost.
