If I could give no stars I would. Patnana is the reason I wont go back to Southwest Medical Center. She degraded me, and charged my insurance company over 1400 dollars just to take care of a couple warts, she put in the charges that they were foreign skin problems. I saw her for no more than ten minutes and she rushed me and made me feel very insecure. Didnt seem like see cared about anything except making money and pushing patients out the door. She was nice the first time I saw her. The second time she was nice as well, but struck up a conversation about how I am a smoker -telling me why I should quit. This had nothing to do with my visit, I just thought she was looking out for my well being. She then charged me for a nicotine consultation which my insurance co. doesnt cover. When I called to dispute, she sent me a letter saying that she is declining to adjust the balance since the chart notes support the charge. She has been pushy and tried to sell me on a prescription-by-mail plan she is affiliated with (certainly gets kick-backs). When I declined stating I was happy w/ my current pharmacy, she acted put-off and rushed me out of office. I have not cared for her for a couple years, but this "high pressure" sales-man attitude is the final straw.

She is awful. Dismissive, unprofessional, and incompetent. She is what gives our health system a bad name.

I also am not pleased with Dr. Patnana. I was a patient of Dr. Atkins who was a wonderful Dr. I stayed in the office only because my records were already there. Can someone recommend another Dr. in this office?

Doctor was real nice and caring at first. I seen her for four years. First year she was great. Then she acts like seeing someone is annoying to her. She was so busy with patients and interns to take care of her patients. What is a doctor supposed to do? Then after a MRI I didnt need I owed her money. I called and made my payments. She wrote a letter stating that because I owed her a large amount (under \$900) she will not see me anymore. Even when I been making payments.
