Lynn & Linda Rader live on the Rader Family Farm located on the west side of Normal on Ropp Road. Lynn and his 6 younger siblings were raised on this Guernsey Dairy farm by their parents, Glenn and Margaret Rader. Glenn and Margaret moved onto this farm when they were married in 1945 when Glenns Aunt and Uncle moved into town. The family grew up milking cows and showing cows in 4-H. Great time visiting the sunflowers! Not as big of a field as we had imagined but beautiful nonetheless. This should be done every year! Awesome to take home a sunflower as well. Super cute, well manicured for photo opportunities, and helpful staff members. All staff wore masks which was great to see. You were required to wear a mask while in the field (we only took ours off for pictures). Socially distant, fun, and beautiful.
