I had the pleasure of getting a pedicure yesterday after getting many manicures at Rad Nails. I was not sure what to expect as I have not gotten this type of pedicure before, but it was so relaxing that I am already looking forward to the next one. When I arrived, my feet were dry with so many calloused areas and terribly chipped polish/uneven nail lengths. UPDATE: As evident from her defensive and condescending response to my review, this isn’t a professional establishment. If you believe the language barrier is the sole reason for the issue, or it’s about color I would expect you to be more willing to assist with the problem rather than engaging in back-and-forth discussions with customers about their experiences at your nail salon. I had booked an appointment with Olena and the customer service was not great. First the nail tech was cold and payed more attention to videos on her phone than to providing good service. I have natural long nails which she was very rough with and did not care about the integrity of my nails. The skin around my nails got irritated and eventually when we got to the point of adding the hard gel, they burned under the lamp and she didn’t seem to care. I’m writing this review to warn women of color about this establishment. As a woman of color, I’ve had several negative experiences here. Zu, one of the stylists, was incredibly rude and disrespectful, while Yoko was equally rude and even lied to me after she had already told me she would do a service.
