Racines does breakfast with the same care and presentation most restaurants reserve for their dinner offerings. The large dining area is bright with art deco décor. Weekend mornings draw the crowds so expect to wait for a table. The breakfast menu is extensive and carries everything from the standard egg and hash brown combos to delicious Eggs Benedict. The Norwegian salmon with honey-mustard is a nice change of pace. For lunch, try the Monte Cristo. The sandwich and burger menu is just as good as the breakfast menu.

Racines has always served up delicious food and never failed to give gracious service. That's why I return, particularly when company from out of town visit Denver!

I've been eating at Racine's since the mid-'80s ...before it moved to its CapHill location. I must surely have had a problem with at least one of those 200+ meals, but I can't remember it. The food is always given attention to detail, the service is smart and expert, the prices are very fair, and the menu is just the right size that I never get bored. We eat there quite often. Carol usually has fajitas and I normally have the salmon, service always good 7n7 with lime is perfect.
I always get terrible service at the bar unless I am with a man. Weird huh? I stopped coming for a long time. Now I come in every few months because I like the food.
