It saddens me to see negative reviews about this physician, they are based around scheduling/admin (in which are not inaccurate, much of this not in the physicians control). But they have zero to do with this doctor’s credibility, care, and passion. One of the reasons why it may be difficult to get scheduled with Dr. Zaia though, is bc she really is that good, and there are far more needed in the medical field like her. I saw Dr. Zaia once for a physical and had a positive experience with her. However, when I was due for my annual appointment this past April, I called at the beginning of May to schedule, expecting that it might take some time to get an appointment. I was surprised to be told that she did not have any availability until January 2027. I understand that doctors can have busy schedules, but waiting more than eight months for a routine annual visit feels extremely unreasonable. Dr. Rachil Zaia is very caring and tentatively. She not only identifies health concerns thinks of next steps for prevention even if it is a small symptom.
I had an appointment scheduled with Dr. Zaia. It was for 8:20am and I mistakenly thought it was for 8:30am. I arrived at 8:30am and was told she would not take me as she has a 10 minute grace period. I completely understand it was my fault, however, what I would like to know is if the Dr would not take me within the 10 minutes, does that mean she would have been ready to see me promptly at my appointment time?
